More than 75,000 visited the Motor Show in Jönköping
Over 75,000 visitors came to the Auto Sport Performance & Custom Motor Show in Jönköping! During the Easter weekend was filled Elmia exhibition halls of 800 vehicles, and the range was enormous, ranging from a 125 year old Benz Patent Motorwagen the latest example, from Volvo.

Powerful horses of Mustang Performance
In B-hall, right next Bilsports booth, will Hakan Prytz and company MustangPerformance.se to view the latest from Ford Racing. Two cars and a host of new engines compliment the booth and the purpose is to convey what Ford offers those who want to upgrade or get a new machine to its hot rod or older U.S. cars. It will bring the most attention is Hakan “Super Snake” that is based on a Shelby GT 500 from 2007. It has all the candy that can be bought from Ford Racing including a 900-horsepower engine with a supercharger. The other car is a 2010 “Cobra Jet” with the drive package equivalent to the 2012 Super Stock. The risk of becoming a horse (power) piece of Hakan’s booth is in other words, great!
A world of celebrity has landed!
After a few nervous months at sea, it was finally in place. The Hirohata Mercury is one of the most talked custombil and holds a story that is lined with mystery and speculation. But now it’s here and going to his place in Hall D.
Mass General Lasse Theander, George Barris and owner Jim McNiel, together with his wife Sue cut traditionally a band when the car got to know on Swedish soil.

Lasse Olsson began working at Mc-Collection for about four years ago. Together with the well-known motorcycle enthusiast Ove Johansson has together transformed a seemingly hopeless wreck that was purchased in part to the beautiful and functional motorcycle.
A previous owner had long since dismantled the whole bike and
embarked on a renovation, but for unknown reasons did not come so far. Just in time for Easter, they finished with the American Excelsior from 1920 that has a 1000-cc V-twin engine.

English sports car dream turns 50.

The chassis is made up of Corvette parts and air suspension and leveling system from Air Ride.
Two years ago they built a hot rod in just three days in connection with the Grand National Roadster Show in Los Angeles. Do you remember Torsten Fritz and his legendary T-Semitic threats Old Bonanza? Now it “Chrome-free” returns with another show building – a hand-built motorcycle with Hedlund machine that will be unveiled at Elmia in Easter. He appeared on the 1981 Custom Motor Show, with show-building of Old Bonanza – a hot rod that is still one of Sweden’s coolest building ever. Wild truck construction with scratch
Two real heavyweights on this year’s fair will be a couple of Scania trucks that were placed at the very top at last year’s Nordic Trophy. The competition is an unofficial open Nordic Championship nice trucks and are arranged each year by Bilsports sister Journal Trailer.

The world’s most renowned custombil: The Hirohata Mercury

SWEDEN’S LARGEST CAR AND MC EXHIBITION CELEBRATES 40 YEARS!
